How to set a particular time for a group event?

Limit your availability to a particular time on a special day when using Zeeg as a registration page for your meetings.

Last updated 2 years ago

When creating a group meeting, you might intend to provide the invitees with only one possible available time to choose. You might not want the attendees to have a free hand to choose between different available hours on various days. For example, imagine you want to hold a webinar, and you’ve set the day and time. The attendees, as a result, cannot arrange it based on their available time.

In such cases, Zeeg is used as a registration page for a group meeting.

To define a particular day for the group meeting, follow these steps:

Click on the Edit icon of the intended scheduling page.

On the opened page, click on the availability.

Now, in these two modes, you can set the day:

· In the list view

· In the calendar view

Setting the specific day in the list view

On the top of the page, click on Custom hours.

Then click on + Add date override on the Date Overrides column.

In the opened window, set the day and time of the meeting. Then click on Apply override.

Finally, don’t forget to click on save custom availability.

Open the event type using its link. You can see that only one day and time are available to register.

Note: if you want to set more than one particular time for the event, you can do it the same way: define a date override for each intended date.

Defining the specific date using the calendar view

On the availability part of the scheduling page, make sure that the Custom hours are chosen at the top of the page.

Open the event type using its link. You can see that only one day and time is available for invitees to register.

Note: if you want to set more than just one particular day for the event, you can do it the same way by defining a date override for each intended date.

Then, delete all the available hours using the button in the Weekly Hours column.

In the Weekly Hours column, delete all the available hours using the button. Then click on the Calendar view.

Find the intended day for holding the meeting in the calendar. Click on the vertical ellipsis () and select Edit times.

Click on the plus sign () in the opened window and set the preferred hour. Finally, click on Apply overrides.
